Vice President of Product: Development, Design, Sourcing and Quality

Job Overview Life is Good is a growing brand focused on improving lives. The product team leads the full lifecycle of apparel, accessories and specialty products from design through production, ensuring fit, quality, durability and brand integrity. Key Responsibilities Manage and lead a large cross‑functional team: Global Sourcing, Quality, Product Management, Production Art, Product Design, and Technical Design.

Oversee sourcing and development of apparel, accessories and specialty products, ensuring gross margin objectives. Ensure quality and compliance, including human rights, code of conduct and product safety. Lead the product development calendar, build assortments that support revenue targets, select materials and manage the briefing process for product graphics.

Oversee the conversion of artwork into production‑ready mechanicals (ink color, strike‑offs, file creation). Lead design of core, graphic‑friendly products, seasonal assortment and Signature Collection launches. Work with the Partnerships Team to keep licensed products aligned with brand style and quality standards.

Develop and manage the annual department budget and meet approved spending levels. Collaborate with leaders across eCommerce, Wholesale, Brand Marketing, Finance, Operations, People, Legal and Product Graphics. Candidate Profile Minimum 10 years’ experience building, leading and retaining product teams in the apparel industry, with a strong track record in eCommerce, wholesale and retail channels.

Proven ability to recruit, develop talent and drive innovation while managing workload and process. Strong negotiation, conflict resolution and clear communication skills. Additional Requirements Will work on‑site in Boston Wednesdays and Thursdays each week.
