Vice President of Engineering

Location: Garland, TX Salary: $145,000.00 USD Annually – $155,000.00 USD Annually Description: Only local to Garland, TX – NO RELOCATION ++Vice President Of Engineering++ ++Location: Garland, TX++ ++Full-Time++ Senior Engineering Leader / Head of Engineering We are seeking a senior engineering leader to own the technical strategy, architecture, and execution across our ecommerce platform, AWS cloud infrastructure, and enterprise systems. Key Responsibilities Provide technical leadership across Ruby on Rails ecommerce platform, AWS infrastructure, NetSuite ERP, and third-party integrations Define and execute a scalable, secure long-term technology roadmap in partnership with executive leadership Lead platform modernization, AWS optimization, and systems integration initiatives Own engineering OKRs, capacity planning, and budget management Establish and enforce engineering standards for code quality, security, testing, and releases Drive maturity and cost/performance optimization of AWS infrastructure Lead adoption and governance of AI-assisted development tools, ensuring quality and security Mentor, develop, and retain a high-performing engineering team and foster a culture of excellence Requirements 8 years of software engineering experience, including 3 years in a leadership role Strong hands‑on experience with AWS in production environments Proven ability to deliver complex, cross-functional technical programs Experience working in AI-augmented engineering environmentsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience Preferred Ruby on Rails ecommerce experience Agile/Scrum experience Payment systems or B2B ecommerce background Platform modernization and legacy migration experience By providing your phone number, you consent to: (1) receive automated text messages and calls from the Judge Group, Inc. and its affiliates (collectively “Judge”) to such phone number regarding job opportunities, your job application, and for other related purposes.
