Vice President of Engineering About the Company Popular technology company with a direct-to-consumer business model Industry Consumer Services Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President of Engineering to join their senior leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading customer-facing application engineering across web and mobile platforms on a global scale. This role involves managing and developing senior engineering leaders, driving the integration of newly acquired products and platforms, and championing the adoption of AI to enhance productivity.

The VP of Engineering will also be tasked with evaluating and modernizing the technology stack, ensuring the high availability, performance, and security of consumer-facing systems, and acting as a senior technical leader to challenge assumptions and improve execution. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years of commercial software engineering experience, with a proven track record in building and scaling large-scale, real-time, customer-facing platforms. A background in fintech or highly regulated environments is strongly preferred.

The role requires experience in leading globally distributed engineering teams, strong technical depth in modern stacks, and the ability to operate in a highly visible, executive-facing position. The ideal candidate will be adept at driving organizational change and will work closely with executive leadership to modernize customer-facing platforms and integrate new products.
