Job Description
This senior project leadership role is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of multiple commercial improvement projects while guiding a team of project management professionals. The position focuses heavily on hands‑on account execution and delivery, ensuring that projects are well‑coordinated, financially sound, and completed to a high standard. The role oversees planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation across active projects, while providing day‑to‑day leadership and coaching to project managers.
This individual works closely with internal partners and client stakeholders to align scope, priorities, and deliverables, resolving challenges as they arise and driving consistent outcomes across the portfolio. Key responsibilities include optimizing project workflows, maintaining financial oversight, and supporting the team through clear direction and decision‑making. The role also contributes to account growth by supporting project pursuits, participating in client‑facing discussions, and helping identify opportunities for expanded services.
While senior in level, this position remains focused on execution rather than executive governance and does not require participation in organizational leadership forums. All work is tied to commercial interior improvement initiatives, with an emphasis on refresh and upgrade projects.
Must‑Haves
- 7+ years of project management experience
- Strong experience running project accounts (hands‑on execution)
- Proven leadership experience managing project managers
- Background in tenant improvement (TI) refresh projects (all projects are TI)
- Strong financial acumen (budgets, forecasting, reporting)
- Bachelor’s degree (Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or similar)
Plusses
- 10+ years of project management experienceMaster’s degree (MBA, Project Management, or similar)
- Certifications such as PMP, LEED, Six Sigma
