Vice President, Bankruptcy Business Development About the Company Respected provider of business intelligence, research & data services Industry Information Services Type Privately Held, Private Equity-backed About the Role The Company is in search of a Vice President for Business Development in Bankruptcy and Restructuring Services. This remote position, with a focus on travel, is tailored for professionals with a background in Chapter 11, particularly those with experience in debtor-side law firms. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships within the Chapter 11 ecosystem, including law firms, financial advisers, and other restructuring professionals.
The role demands a deep understanding of the Chapter 11 lifecycle, the ability to identify the company's service value in complex restructuring matters, and a commercial mindset with a keen interest in business development. Key responsibilities for the Vice President include serving as a trusted resource for tailored bankruptcy administration solutions, originating new business through targeted outreach, and partnering with internal teams to ensure successful case execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong professional network in the bankruptcy and restructuring community, be highly credible with attorneys and senior professionals, and stay current on bankruptcy law developments and market trends.
While a JD is strongly preferred, it is not required for those with sufficient bankruptcy experience.
