About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Vendor Manager / Strategic Sourcing Manager to support technology sourcing engagements and drive them through completion. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in strategic sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiations, and technology procurement within a complex and highly regulated environment.

This role will work closely with internal business partners, technology stakeholders, vendors, procurement teams, risk functions, and other enterprise stakeholders to manage sourcing activities, supplier relationships, contracts, renewals, SOWs, order forms, and related engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage technology sourcing engagements from initiation through completion, including onboarding, renewals, order forms, SOWs, and related documentation.
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies for technology categories such as infrastructure, engineering, network services, public and private cloud, data centers, storage, and employee technology.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to understand requirements and develop appropriate sourcing approaches.
• Lead supplier evaluation, selection, RFx activities, negotiations, and deal structuring.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, SOWs, MSAs, NDAs, POCs, and other contractual requirements.
• Evaluate total cost of ownership and identify opportunities to deliver sustainable value.
• Partner with Vendor Management, Risk, Legal, Procurement, and other control functions to ensure supplier risk and governance requirements are addressed.
• Manage multiple sourcing engagements simultaneously while meeting established timelines and service-level expectations.
• Identify, assess, and escalate sourcing, contractual, supplier risk, and governance issues as appropriate.
• Ensure sourcing activities comply with applicable policies, procedures, financial controls, approval requirements, and regulatory expectations.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and technology partners.
• Provide market intelligence and recommendations related to technology suppliers, industry trends, pricing, and emerging technologies.
• Support process improvements that enhance sourcing efficiency, transparency, governance, and stakeholder experience.
• Maintain accurate sourcing documentation and ensure agreements are ready for execution and transition to ongoing vendor management.
• Contribute to enterprise initiatives and provide subject matter expertise on complex sourcing and procurement matters.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, vendor management, or technology sourcing.
• Strong experience negotiating and managing:
• Statements of Work (SOW)
• Master Services Agreements (MSA)
• Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA)
• Proofs of Concept (POC)
• Commercial terms and pricing
• Strong understanding of contract terms, deal structures, supplier risk, and the technology procurement lifecycle.
• Experience working within a highly regulated or complex corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of technology sourcing categories, preferably including cloud, infrastructure, networking, engineering, data centers, or storage.
• Proven experience owning sourcing and contractual engagements rather than simply supporting document preparation.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, competing deadlines, and complex sourcing engagements.
