Vehicle Auto Electrician / Technician

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Vehicle Auto Electrician / Technician to join our team in Blancharsdatown. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining vehicle electrical and mechanical systems across a range of vehicles.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both auto-electrical systems and vehicle mechanics, with the ability to work independently and confidently troubleshoot complex faults.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicle electrical and mechanical systems.
• Install, wire, test, and commission electrical components and vehicle equipment.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and manufacturer specifications.
• Carry out electrical fault-finding and diagnostic work using specialist diagnostic equipment.
• Identify faults, repair vehicle systems, and program vehicle components where required.
• Perform mechanical repairs and servicing as necessary.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with health and safety requirements.
• Work independently while managing tasks efficiently and meeting deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records of work carried out and report any significant faults or issues.
• Keep up to date with new vehicle technologies, systems, and diagnostic techniques.
• Undertake additional training as required to support ongoing professional development.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Auto Electrician, Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical and mechanical systems.
• Excellent electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience using vehicle diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read and work from wiring diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative.
• Relevant automotive industry experience is essential.
• Full, clean driving licence is essential.
• HGV licence would be advantageous.
• Willingness to undertake additional training when required.

Pay: €30,308.26-€52,922.67 per year
