We’re looking for UX/UI Developer to join our high-performing team based at our Birmingham Business Park HQ.
The UX/UI Frontend Developer will support the development and delivery of key strategic digital products. The role focuses on modernising and enhancing user interfaces across business-critical platforms, with a strong emphasis on user-centred design, performance, and accessibility. What You’ll Be Doing As part of our Technical Solutions team, your role will include: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective UI solutions Design, build, and maintain user interfaces for new and existing applications Champion UI/UX best practices, accessibility standards, and responsive design Ensure technical feasibility and consistency of UI/UX designs Continuously improving frontend performance, usability, and maintainability Stay current with emerging UI technologies, frameworks, and design patterns Experiment with and evaluate new frontend tools and approaches What You’ll Bring We’re looking for someone who’s not just experienced, but passionate about what you do. You’ll need: 5+ years' experience in a frontend or software engineering role Strong experience building modern web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript Commercial experience with Angular (v12 or above) Experience using UI component libraries such as DevExpress / DevExtreme Understanding of the full software development lifecycle in Agile environments Experience consuming RESTful APIs and working with OpenAPI / Swagger Knowledge of browser compatibility, performance optimisation, and accessibility standards Experience with Git-based source control and CI/CD pipelines Working knowledge of Azure App Services and modern cloud-hosted applications A proactive, team-oriented mindset with great time management.
