Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Clean Utilities Engineer to provide client-side technical expertise for a large-scale Fill/Finish facility project in Dublin. This role spans the full project lifecycle, from detailed design and procurement through to commissioning, qualification (C&Q), and final handover. In addition to the primary facility, you will support utility requirements for ancillary projects, including warehouse expansions, cold storage (-30°C), and laboratory reconfigurations.
International travel for Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) will be required periodically. Key Responsibilities Design & Technical Oversight: Lead the client-side review of Clean Utility systems (Pretreatment, WFI, Clean Steam, and Process Air). Ensure all designs, specifications (URS/HDS/SDS), and models align with site standards and technical authority requirements.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between Site SMEs, Automation, and C&Q teams to ensure seamless system integration and milestone adherence. Procurement & Vendor Management: Support technical assessments for equipment procurement and participate in vendor design reviews and Factory/Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT). Operational Readiness: Coordinate with Metrology for calibration programming and Maintenance for Maximo data integration.
On-Site Execution: Provide technical supervision and troubleshooting during the construction and loop-checking phases. Project Controls: Assist the management team with schedule and cost forecasting to ensure project objectives are met. Candidate Profile Experience: Minimum 5 years in pharmaceutical engineering (design, construction, or commissioning).
Proven track record in large-scale biopharma projects is essential. Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of clean utility generation and distribution. Ability to confidently challenge and defend technical design decisions.
Education: Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. #J-18808-Ljbffr
