Company Description Sekeron is a dedicated social media platform designed for artists, including musicians, dancers, painters, writers, actors, and other creative professionals. The app focuses on helping artists connect, collaborate, and build meaningful creative partnerships. It simplifies discovery so artists can showcase their work and reach new audiences.
Sekeron also supports secure collaborations by providing legal documentation that backs the copyright of each artist involved. The team is focused on building a safe, supportive, and growth-oriented space for the global creative community. Role Description This is a contract UI/UX Designer role based in New Delhi with a hybrid work model, combining on-site collaboration with flexibility for some work from home.
The UI/UX Designer will be responsible for translating product requirements into intuitive user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups tailored to artists’ needs. Day-to-day tasks include conducting user research and usability testing, creating visual designs and interactive prototypes, and iterating based on feedback and data. The designer will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and content teams to ensure a consistent, accessible, and engaging in-app experience.
The role also includes maintaining design systems, ensuring design feasibility with front-end teams, and advocating for user-centered design throughout the product lifecycle. Qualifications Strong User Experience Design (UED) skills, including user flows, wireframing, and usability testing. Proficiency in Mockups and Visual Design, with the ability to create clear, attractive, and accessible interfaces.
Experience with Prototyping interactive experiences using modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD). Understanding of Front-End Development concepts (e.g., responsive design, basic HTML/CSS) to collaborate effectively with engineering teams. Portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design work, ideally for consumer or social/mobile apps.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to incorporate feedback from cross-functional partners. Comfort working in a fast-paced, iterative environment and managing multiple priorities independently. Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; experience designing for creative communities or social platforms is a plus.
