Truck Driver Offsider

Ausprime Pty Ltd is an established family owned and operated meat wholesaling business based on the Darling Downs, Queensland. Ausprime supplies premium quality pork and pork products to retailers primarily on the East Coast of Queensland and Northern New South Wales as well as internationally.

Your role

We are seeking a Truck Driver Offsider with the appropriate refrigeration loading experience to join our organisation.

The position has the following requirements:

Approximately 26-30 casual hours a week.

Shift would start between 7:00pm and 9:30pm and end between 2:00am and 6:00am. The shift would be required 4 times a week, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

Delivery shift would begin at Burleigh truck yard and be loaded with fresh hanging meat and boxed product. Unloading will occur at various drop off points in the surrounding areas.

Lifting of pig sides and cartonsis required to load and unload the truck

Training will be provided for the specific procedures of the role.

Requirements of the role

Follow established procedures including those relating to manual handling and loading / unloading of the freight.

Regular cleaning of the trucks and trailers.

Current, valid Australian Drivers Licence

Physically fit

Forklift Ticket highly regarded
