Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and safety-focused Class 1 Driver to transport heavy equipment and materials to and from job sites. The ideal candidate has experience operating and hauling construction or industrial equipment and is committed to maintaining high safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Class 1 commercial vehicles to transport heavy equipment and machinery
• Load, secure, and unload equipment safely
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of truck and trailer
• Ensure all cargo complies with transportation regulations
• Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation
• Communicate with dispatch and site personnel
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 Driver's License (with clean abstract)
• Minimum 1-3+ years of heavy haul or equipment transport experience
• Experience with lowboy trailers (preferred)
• Knowledge of load securement regulations
• Ability to work extended hours and travel if required
• Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail

Assets (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience operating heavy equipment (e.g., excavators, loaders)
• First Aid, H2S Alive, CSO or other safety certifications
• Previous construction or oilfield experience
