Truck Driver

Andersens is Australia's trusted flooring and window furnishings specialist, helping Australians feel right at home for over 65 years. Our warehouse and delivery team plays a big part in that — keeping stores across the network stocked and ready for customers.

About the role

Based at our Gatton warehouse, this is a hands‑on role split between the warehouse and the road. You'll review your route sheets, pick and load the day's orders, and deliver stock to our stores — keeping them informed along the way if anything looks like running late.

What you'll do

• Review route sheets to plan your daily deliveries, and suggest route improvements where you see them
• Check invoices to confirm all stock requirements before loading
• Load product carefully so it's protected in transit and easy to access on delivery
• Deliver products to our stores and let them know early about any expected delays
• Work with drivers' assistants to unload stock safely
• Issue stores with dated delivery notes
• Carry out basic vehicle maintenance and follow safe work practices, policies and processes at all times

What you'll bring

• A current MR (Medium Rigid) licence with a clean driving history
• A current forklift licence (LF)
• Solid, varied experience as a truck driver
• Working knowledge of vehicle weight restrictions and load limits
• The ability to handle the physical side of the role, including loading, unloading and manual handling
• A reliable, customer‑focused approach and clear communication with stores
• Willingness to complete a pre‑employment drug and alcohol screen
