Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing facility setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and clinical findings
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as clinically indicated
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in the state of Massachusetts
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with geriatric patient populations
• Familiarity with MDS documentation and Medicare/Medicaid billing requirements in a SNF environment
