Location:Guildford
Salary:40,000 - 70,000 + Package
My client is an established groundworkscontractor deliveringresidential and commercial projects across London & The South of the UK.
Due to continued growth, theyare nowlooking to appoint an Transport Managerto take responsibility for the efficient, safe and compliant management of its transport operations.
The Transport Manager will take ownership of theday-to-day management of the fleet and transport operation, ensuring vehicles, drivers and movements are coordinated efficiently across multiple construction projects.
Working closely with the Directors andPlant Department,you will ensure the business has the right vehicles and resources in the right place at the right time, while maintaining high standards oflegal compliance, safety and cost control.
This is a hands-on position suited to someone who understands the demands of transport within abusy groundworks, civil engineering or construction environment.
