What You’ll Be Doing As Transport Manager, you’ll lead and oversee domestic and international transport operations, ensuring safe, compliant, and cost-effective movements while maintaining exceptional service standards. Key Responsibilities Include Managing fleet operations, compliance, and preventative maintenance Ensuring Operator Licence and transport legislation compliance Overseeing tachograph compliance and drivers’ hours Planning efficient UK and European routes Managing operational challenges with minimal disruption Leading, coaching, and developing drivers and transport teams Delivering toolbox talks, safety briefings, and training Supporting customs and cross-border transport operations Driving continuous improvement and operational excellence What We’re Looking For We’re seeking a confident and organised transport professional who thrives in a busy logistics environment. Essential Skills & Experience Transport Manager CPC qualification (Road Transport Operations) Strong knowledge of Operator Licensing and Road Transport Law Experience managing transport operations and drivers Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Budget and cost control experience Strong IT skills and attention to detail Desirable ADR shipment experience Customs and post-Brexit transport knowledge Flexibility to travel when required Salary & Benefits We believe in rewarding our people and creating a workplace where you can thrive.
