In Lisbon, we bring together experts in IT, administration, project management and HR to collaborate in an agile, international environment and create smart, scalable solutions.
Your tasks Support and coordinate initiative transitions and, where agreed, take the lead for transition execution of IT services and responsibilities to the IT Hub in Lisbon using defined transition frameworks and playbooks Act as a key interface between the Lisbon IT Hub, business stakeholders and delivery organisations, ensuring transparency, alignment and engagement throughout transition activities Coordinate all transition phases including preparation, shadowing, reverse shadowing, cutover and hypercare where applicable Organise and ensure effective knowledge transfer between existing delivery teams, external suppliers and Lisbon-based IT teams Ensure operational readiness of transitioning services (documentation, access, processes, ownership) Support initiative teams throughout planning, execution and stabilisation phases Identify transition-related risks and proactively mitigate impacts on service continuity Contribute to improving and scaling transition frameworks, templates and governance Drive transition-related change management activities by supporting stakeholder communication, expectation management and adoption of new operating models Assess and manage the organizational impact of transferring services and capabilities into the Lisbon Hub, ensuring sustainable integration into the broader enterprise landscape In future, support greenfield setups where services or capabilities are built directly within the Lisbon hub
Your profile
Your Expertise:
Several years of experience in transition management, service delivery, technical project management, or similar position, ideally within outsourcing, insourcing, shared services or global business services environments Solid understanding of IT service delivery models, IT operations and/or software development environments Hands-on experience with transition phases such as shadowing, reverse shadowing and service stabilisation Ability to adapt transition approaches pragmatically to different initiative sizes and maturity levels, avoiding unnecessary process overhead Experience working in complex enterprise organizations, international environments and/or multi-vendor ecosystems Expertise to understand and navigate the interdependencies between a fast-growing international IT Hub and a complex enterprise organization, ensuring sustainable and mutually beneficial outcomes Knowledge of organizational change management principles and their practical application in transformation initiatives Familiarity with agile delivery setups and collaboration tools (e.g. Jira, Azure Dev Ops, MS Teams)

Structured, analytical and execution-oriented working style Strong communication (both management and tech level) and stakeholder coordination skills; English is mandatory, German and/or Portuguese are a plus Resilience and calmness in dynamic ramp-up and transformation situations Ability to influence and gain commitment from stakeholders without formal authority Strong ability to translate strategic objectives into clear and actionable messages for diverse audiences High level of empathy, diplomacy and cultural awareness when working across countries, functions and organizational levels Ability to balance agility and innovation with the governance requirements of a large enterprise environmentAbout the department
You will join our growing IT Hub in Lisbon, which is currently in a ramp-up and scaling phase. The hub takes over IT services and capabilities from existing delivery organisations and external partners, while potentially also building new services directly on site. In this role, you will work closely with initiative leads, delivery teams, and hub leadership.
The environment is dynamic, collaborative, and transformation-driven, offering the opportunity to actively shape transition processes and contribute to building a sustainable and scalable transition capability within the Lisbon IT Hub.
In your role as Transition Manager, you ensure that services, knowledge, and operational responsibilities are transferred in a structured and sustainable manner. Beyond managing individual transitions, you will contribute to establishing a scalable transition capability for the IT Hub, including governance, frameworks, playbooks and best practices that support future growth.
You act as a trusted partner between the Lisbon Hub and stakeholders across the organisation, helping to create alignment, foster commitment, and facilitate organizational change. By balancing the needs of a growing international hub with those of a well-established enterprise environment, you play a key role in enabling successful transformation and long-term business value.
