B&N Traffic Engineer Responsibilities: Independently facilitate day-today production of traffic design (signing and pavement markings, signal, lighting, Intelligent Transportation Systems - ITS), and traffic studies Work collaboratively with project and design team to develop and prepare project deliverables to meet project objectives, schedule, and budget Work as part of a project team, collaborating with industry leaders in transportation Engage with the transportation industry in various ways, such as professional organizations, to build strategic business development relationships and identify marketing opportunities Develop engineering skills including traffic design tasks, traffic analysis, and technical skills with future potential opportunities for project management and business development Experience with report writing Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited civil engineering program 4+ years of related traffic engineering design or analysis Engineer-in-Training required, ability to obtain PE registration in the state of Arizona preferred Strong interest in transportation engineering and motivated to improve the efficiency and safety of transportation systems Proficient in Microsoft Office, familiarity with Microstation or AutoCAD as well as traffic software such as Synchro Experience in preparing traffic studies Strong communication skills and ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools To learn more about B&N's Perks and Culture click here . #LI-PC1
