Job Title: Trade Finance Product Owner / Business Analyst Experience : 5 to 12 yrs Location: Pune,Mumbai,Hyderabad,Bangalore,Chennai,Coimbatore There are 2 Job positions: 1) Trade Business Product Owner The Trade Business Product Owner is a critical role responsible for defining the vision strategy and roadmap for our core Trade Finance products This individual will serve as the definitive subject matter expert on the business processes data architecture and endtoend workflows for products including Standby Letters of Credit SBLC Commercial Letters of Credit LC Bills of Exchange Payable Finance Supply Chain Finance Receivable Finance and Trade Loans Origination and Servicing You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams translating complex business needs into actionable product backlogs and ensuring the successful delivery of solutions that enhance client experience and operational efficiency Key Responsibilities Product Vision Strategy Develop and champion a clear product vision and strategic roadmap for the trade finance platform aligned with business goals and market trends Subject Matter Expertise Act as the primary authority on all functional aspects of trade finance products Maintain an expertlevel understanding of all data elements system integrations operational workflows and servicing requirements Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with business LOBs operations teams and technology partners to gather requirements define scope and manage expectations Process Workflow Analysis Meticulously document and analyze existing asis business processes and design optimized tobe workflows to drive efficiency reduce risk and improve service quality Data Governance Quality Define and govern the critical data elements for all trade products Responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive Data Dictionaries and establishing robust Data Quality rules to ensure data integrity accuracy and consistency across the entire product lifecycle Required Qualifications Skills Extensive Trade Finance Experience Minimum of 10 years of handson experience in a Trade Finance environment Operations Product Management or Business Analysis Deep Product Knowledge Expertlevel understanding of the entire lifecycle of the following products oStandby Letters of Credit SBLC oCommercial Letters of Credit ImportExport LCs oBills of Exchange Collections oPayable Finance Supply Chain Finance oReceivable Finance Factoring oTrade Loans Origination Drawdowns Servicing Experience in industry transition from legacy SWIFT MT messages to ISO 20022 for trade finance Data Process Mastery Proven ability to dissect complex financial products into their fundamental data elements and map out intricate endtoend business processes and workflows Knowledge of Data Standards Deep familiarity with industry data standards particularly ISO 20022 and the ability to map trade finance data elements and workflows to its messaging schemas Knowledge of international trade rules and regulations eg UCP 600 ISP98 URC 522 Product Ownership Experience 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within an AgileScrum framework Technical Proficiency High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced skills in Excel for data analysis modeling and reporting Analytical Skills Superior analytical and problemsolving abilities with a talent for translating complex business requirements into clear developerready specifications Communication Skills Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively engage and influence senior stakeholders business users and technical teams Agile Fluency Proficient in Agile methodologies and tools eg Jira Confluence Experience with largescale digital transformation projects in the trade finance domain SQL Knowledge Experience with SQL for data querying and analysis is highly desirable Nicetohave Bachelors or Masters degreee in Trade fiannce related 2) Trade Finance Business Analyst Job Summary Seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst with 7 to 11 years of experience in BFS data analysis and strong SQL skills to support AML business and data analysis initiatives Job Description Perform indepth data analysis within the BFS domain to support AML business and data analysis objectives Analyze and interpret complex datasets using advanced SQL queries to generate actionable insights that drive business decisions Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective data solutions Utilize advanced analytical techniques to identify trends anomalies and opportunities for process improvement Support the establishment and maintenance of data quality standards and governance frameworks Translate business needs into datadriven strategies and actionable plans Ensure accurate and timely reporting of data analysis findings to relevant stakeholders Stay updated with industry trends best practices and regulatory changes related to BFS data analysis and AML business analysis Apply business analysis skills to bridge the gap between business requirements and IT solutions Leverage strong SQL knowledge to extract manipulate and validate data for comprehensive analysis Roles and Responsibilities Lead endtoend data analysis projects within the AML Business amp Data Analysis skill cluster Drive data validation and reconciliation processes to maintain the accuracy and integrity of BFS reference data Collaborate closely with business users to gather and document requirements translating them into technical specifications Mentor and guide junior analysts in data analysis methodologies SQL best practices and analytical techniques Work with IT and business teams to implement datadriven solutions and enhancements Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to optimize data handling and reporting Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements related to data management Prepare and present detailed reports and dashboards to senior management and key stakeholders Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to facilitate clear communication and successful project delivery
