Test Engineer

We’ve partnered with a well-established UK business that is continuing to invest heavily in its in-house technology function. They’re looking for a Software Tester to join a collaborative Agile team, working on systems that are critical to the day-to-day running of the business. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong manual testing experience who’s looking to develop their automation skills further in a supportive environment.

The Role: Manual testing across internal systems and applications Writing and maintaining test cases and scenarios Exploratory testing to identify defects and usability issues Logging, tracking and managing bugs (Jira or similar) Regression testing and re-testing fixes Supporting automation activity and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency Working closely with developers and stakeholders throughout the lifecycle Contributing to QA processes, standards and best practice What We’re Looking For: Experience in manual software testing within a development environment Strong understanding of functional, regression and exploratory testing Experience writing test cases and clear bug reports Experience using Jira or similar tools Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Exposure to automation testing tools or frameworks Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset Nice to Have: Experience with Playwright, Cypress or Selenium Basic understanding of JavaScript or TypeScript Experience testing CRM or business systems API testing experience (e.g. Postman) What’s On Offer: Opportunity to grow automation testing skills Supportive, collaborative in-house tech team Modern office environment Free on-site parking Flexible working with core hours (9:30am–2pm) 1 day remote working For more information, apply now!
