Job Description

Sales Manager – Midlothian, TX We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our team at Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials. In this role you will manage your territory, develop and execute a business strategy to gain or protect market share, provide technical service to Quikrete customers, and lead marketing and sales efforts within your territory. Responsibilities Creates clear business strategy for key accounts & channels (e.g., increase share, account penetration, protect existing base).

Develops revenue and product goals that are realistic and achievable. Understands how to deliver value to customers – with a key emphasis on the bulk cement channel. Identifies and understands competitive landscape.

Develops plans to maximize potential of accounts, using good account management practices and implementing district strategies (e.g., price attainment). Promotes Quikrete Cement products in the territory, especially the bulk cement business. Provides basic technical assistance and utilizes resources to resolve product and service issues.

Provides training and education for customers. Gathers territory intelligence on all customers, competitors, and potential customers; maintains a realistic succession pipeline. Develops, maintains, and strengthens customer relationships.

Represents Quikrete and participates actively in trade associations as required. Develops an effective call planning system to ensure adequate coverage, including future CRM population and usage. Identifies service and product improvement opportunities.

Uses Quikrete systems to maintain accurate forecasts, pricing, expense, and future CRM reporting. Manages working capital goals via meeting DSO and SG&A objectives. Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.

Qualifications 4‑year degree in a related field. 5 years of field sales experience in building materials supply or associated industries. Geographic/territory understanding. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Ability to gain information on market pricing trends through relationships with customers. Intermediate to advanced computer skills – bidding and entering customer pricing data. Basic Microsoft Office knowledge; CMD data knowledge preferred.
