Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Tendering Engineer based in New Delhi. The Tendering Engineer will be responsible for handling end-to-end tendering activities related to Government e-Procurement platforms such as GeM Portal, CPP Portal, Defence procurement portals, Aviation tenders, and Homeland Security projects. The role includes preparing techno-commercial bids, analyzing tender documents, coordinating with OEMs and procurement teams, preparing quotations, ensuring compliance with tender specifications, and supporting bid submissions across defence, aviation, homeland security, and government sectors. The candidate will work closely with technical, sales, and procurement departments to ensure timely and accurate execution of tendering processes.
Qualifications Experience in handling Government e-Procurement portals including GeM, CPP Portal, Defence, Aviation, and Homeland Security tenders Strong knowledge of tender preparation, bid documentation, and techno-commercial submissions Experience in preparing quotations, compliance sheets, and managing tender-related documentation Strong analytical skills to evaluate technical specifications and commercial requirements Effective oral and written communication skills for coordination with OEMs, government agencies, and internal teams Knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and supply chain coordination Understanding of electrical/electronics engineering and technical product specifications Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple tenders simultaneously Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field Prior experience in Defence, Homeland Security, Aviation, Aerospace, or Government procurement sectors will be preferred
