Job Description Job Description Telecommunications Technician: We are seeking Telecommunications Technician to assist with wiring work on newly built residential homes. This position is centered around installing coaxial lines from centralized distribution points to designated outlet areas during early construction phases. Core Duties Pull and fasten coaxial (RG6) lines from distribution boxes to outlet points Bore through wood framing and route cable runs across the structure Install and neatly organize low-voltage wiring based on layout drawings Perform work at heights using ladders in active job site conditions Interpret basic construction drawings and collaborate with field personnel Keep work areas orderly and compliant with safety expectations Basic Qualifications Hands-on experience with cabling, drilling, or framing environments Comfortable performing physically demanding work and using ladders Working knowledge of standard hand and powered tools Prior exposure to construction or low-voltage systems is helpful Must hold a valid driver’s license Additional Experience (Preferred) Familiarity with coaxial, Cat5e, Cat6, or structured wiring setups Experience working in residential builds or interior wiring projects Knowledge of smart home infrastructure or media panel installations Ability to manage tasks independently or contribute within a crew Experience with line verification, labeling, or signal testing is a plus
