Job Title: Telecommunications Manager / Network Operations Manager (Cisco VoIP solutions) Location: Austin, TX Work Type: Hybrid Employment Type: Contract (C2C) Duration: 08+ Months Open to LOCALS of Texas only About the Role We are seeking an experienced Telecommunications / Network Operations Manager to lead and oversee Network Services operations, including voice, data, and security infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, and security of enterprise network systems, while managing teams, vendors, and strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and oversight of Network Services operations, including WAN, LAN, wireless, SD-WAN, and network security platforms Oversee daily operational activities, including incident management, problem resolution, and service availability Serve as escalation point for high-priority network and infrastructure issues Coordinate and prioritize workload across Network Services teams, including infrastructure and security-focused functions Support ongoing and planned initiatives, including: SD-WAN implementation and optimization Network monitoring and observability tools (e.g., ThousandEyes, AppDynamics) Security integrations (e.g., Secure Workload, NGFW, identity services) Provide vendor coordination and oversight for network-related services and contracts Ensure compliance with Agency security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements Participate in change management processes and ensure proper documentation and approvals Collaborate with Infrastructure Engineering, Data Center, Telecom, and Security teams to support cross-functional initiatives Provide status reporting, risk identification, and mitigation planning to leadership Maintain documentation of network architecture, processes, and operational procedures Support knowledge transfer and continuity planning for the return of the permanent Network Services Manager Required Skills Minimum 7+ years of supervisory/management experience in network operations Proven experience leading teams, providing direction, and driving results Strong understanding of enterprise network operations (WAN/LAN/Wireless) Experience managing incident, problem, and change management processes Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Preferred Skills Minimum 7 years’ experience with administration, maintenance, and design of Cisco VoIP solutions Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing a networking team in a highly complex environment Experience implementing and supporting a 24x7x365 network, voice, and video environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
