Technician

We are recruiting for an experienced vehicle technician at our Oldham Ashton Rd branch. You will be a Qualified Technician required to service and repair vehicles, carry out general repairs and meet deadlines and be able to demonstrate recent experience within a busy working environment. Your work would include:

·      Diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues with precision using advanced schematics and mechanical knowledge.

·      Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to perform repairs and maintenance.

·      Conduct vehicle assembly, disassembly, and inspection tasks ensuring safety and quality standards.

·      Ensure workshop safety protocols are followed at all times.

·      Assist in equipment repair and maintenance to keep workshop operations smooth.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, preferably with Volkswagen or Audi vehicles.

·      Strong knowledge of vehicle schematics and mechanical systems.

·      Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and maintenance procedures.

·      Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

·      Good customer service skills for effective communication.

·      Ability to lift heavy components safely.

·      Relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive technology are preferred.
