While manual testing is still important, there's an increasing focus on automating various testing types - functional, regression, visual, performance, and compatibility. As a Technical Test Engineer, you will contribute to our automation efforts, helping enhance overall quality and efficiency.

Roles and Responsibilities will include: Work in agile environments, preferably using Scrum or Kanban methodologies. Assist in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements. Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and report issues effectively.

Perform UI, functional, regression, and smoke testing. Log bugs and provide clear documentation of test results. Show eagerness to learn and contribute proactively in a team environment.

Maintain a high standard of work ethics and professionalism. Who you are 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in manual testing. Exposure to Agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), and a basic understanding of story points, user stories, and sprint ceremonies.

Good understanding of the software testing life cycle (STLC). Ability to write clear and concise test cases and bug reports. Familiarity with test management tools like Jira, Xray, or TestLink is a plus.

Exposure to automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright is an added advantage. Hands-on experience with API testing will be an added advantage. Good to have knowledge/experience in the E-commerce domain.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate clearly and work well within a team environment. Eagerness to learn and grow in the testing domain.
