Job Description

NCREP is strengthening its Business Development team and is looking for a professional to drive commercial activity in international markets, with a primary focus on the United Kingdom, and to support prospecting in the domestic market. The role is part of the company's ongoing internationalisation process and works in close coordination with the partners.


𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗲

A background in Civil Engineering or a related field, enabling a technically sound understanding and communication of NCREP's services: structural assessment, seismic assessment, structural design, and structural health monitoring. The role is open to candidates with motivation for commercial work and internationalisation.


𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

·        Execution of the prospecting plan in international markets: identifying, qualifying and contacting potential clients and partners, scheduling and preparing meetings, and following up

·        Participation in meetings in the United Kingdom

·        Managing and updating the international and national client portfolio in CRM

·        Coordinating with external lead-generation and business-development consultancy services

·        Identifying and managing technical partners, and handling the access and health and safety requirements for operating in the United Kingdom

·        Prospecting domestic clients, both public and private, and taking part in meetings

·        Participation in conferences, trade fairs and networking events


𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀

·        A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

·        A minimum of 5 years' professional experience, in commercial or internationalisation roles. Experience with the UK market and familiarity with structural engineering are valued

·        A commercial and client-oriented mindset

·        Fluency in Portuguese and English, as the role requires regular communication with the UK market

·        Availability for regular travel to the United Kingdom and throughout Portugal

·        Work location in Porto (headquarters)
