Job Description
Role Description The Technical Sales Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune Division. The role involves engaging with existing and prospective customers to understand their technical and operational requirements, presenting suitable product solutions, and preparing proposals and quotations. The Technical Sales Engineer will conduct product demonstrations, provide technical clarifications, and collaborate with internal engineering and production teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of solutions.
Daily tasks include responding to customer queries, offering basic technical support, following up on leads, maintaining CRM records, and preparing sales reports. The role also includes participating in customer visits, trade shows, and technical meetings to promote BLOKSMA products and services and support overall sales targets. Qualifications Strong technical and sales skills, with the ability to translate technical features into clear customer value.
Experience in sales, including lead generation, opportunity management, and closing deals in an industrial or technical environment. Proficiency in technical support, including troubleshooting, basic diagnostics, and coordinating with technical teams to resolve customer issues. Excellent communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, presentation skills, and the ability to interact confidently with customers and internal stakeholders.
Degree or diploma in engineering (mechanical, industrial, mechatronics, robotics, or related field) or a similar technical discipline. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and product documentation. Comfort with using CRM tools, MS Office, and basic reporting for sales activities.
Strong problem-solving mindset, customer-focused approach, and willingness to travel within the region as required.
