TECHNICAL SALES ARCHITECT, EMEA

\n

The Starlink Enterprise Sales team is hiring a results-driven Technical Sales Architect to support Starlink’s adoption across the Europe/Middle East/Africa region. Starlink brings an unprecedented opportunity to significantly impact communities, businesses, and governments worldwide. The role will focus on integrating the Starlink service with Network Vendors around the world and developing joint value propositions around the integration.

This role is part of a high velocity team with extremely high expectations – this position requires deep technical and business acumen to support the Enterprise Sales team in meeting revenue targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES\n

\n
• Drive Starlink’s integration engagements with 3rd party networking vendors with guidance/support from wider Technical Sales Architecture team
\n
• Collaborate with Starlink Marketing and 3rd party integration peers to develop joint value propositions and technical solution guides to enable customers, and internal sales/channel teams
\n
• Work closely with Starlink product engineering teams to onboard completed solutions into Starlink’s internal test environments
\n
• Support the technical sales engagements of the broader team, answering customer questions specific to Starlink’s 3rd party integration efforts
\n
• Work in partnership with our Marketing, Licensing, Government Affairs, Finance, Legal, and Product Engineering teams
\n
• Consult with product engineering on best practices, reference architectures, and technical guides demonstrating integration details and value proposition of Starlink
\n
• Represent Starlink at conferences and events
\n

BASIC REQUIREMENTS\n

\n
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline or 3+ years of professional working experience in lieu of a degree
\n
• 3+ years of professional experience in technical sales
\n
• 3+ years of professional hands-on experience building and deploying enterprise network infrastructure
\n
• Fluency in both spoken and written English is required as this position involves regular communication and coordination with US based teams
\n

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE\n

\n
• Industry recognized Computer Networking Certifications
\n
• Demonstrated aptitude to learn new technical skills
\n
• Coachable interpersonal and presentation skills
\n
• Proficiency in troubleshooting using packet capture or TCP dump analysis
\n
• Highly detail oriented, diligent, and hard working with excellent customer interface skills
\n
• Coachable proficiency in one or many common domains of computer networking:
\n
• Common IETF and 3GPP standards
\n
• Network monitoring with sFlow, RFC 2544, Y.1564, TWAMP, POLQA
\n
• TCP, IPv4, IPv6, LACP, VLAN, DSCP, COS, DHCP, DNS, NAT, OSFP and BGP
\n
• Tunneling methodologies including IPSEC, VXLAN, MPLS, and L2/L3VPN
\n
• SD-WAN solutions
\n
• Linux networking and user-space network stack
\n
• Coachable proficiency with at least one programming/scripting language
\n

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS\n

\n
• Must be available to work extended hours and weekends as needed
\n
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time including to customer locations and other SpaceX locations
\n
