Technical Lead: Network Software Development

We are seeking a seasoned and visionary Technical Lead: Network Software Development.

This role involves strategic leadership, technical expertise, and active participation in different stages of cloud software development and operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud architecture, software development best practices, and a passion for driving innovation. Familiarity with the networking, telecom, and embedded domains is highly desired.

What You’ll Be Doing Lead the design and development of critical elements for the network stack of our wireless communication systems, including data plane, control plane, security, and remote/cloud management. Network services (switching, traffic management/classification, SLA enforcement, security) for point‑to‑multipoint wireless access systems. Network and device management – configuration, telemetry, alarms, diagnostics, WebUI.

Scalable network/cloud management and provisioning frameworks. What You’ll Need BS in Computer Science/Engineering with at least 12 years of relevant software development experience. Experience with packet forwarding, routing, bridging, switching, VLANs, ethernet services, and ethernet OA&M.

Advanced knowledge of computer networks (TCP/IP), protocols, and Internet architecture. Deep understanding of UNIX‑style operating systems (IPC, multi‑threading). Proficiency in socket, network, and systems programming in C/C++.

Experience with network/cloud management systems and configuration/provisioning/administration systems such as SNMP, Yang Models, NetConf, LDAP, HTTP, OpenFlow, TR‑69. Experience with authentication, security, encapsulation, and tunnelling technologies like IPSec, CAPWAP, and 802.1x. Previous experience in telecom or embedded software development for carrier or enterprise products.

Experience using AI‑agents in the software lifecycle for requirements or field‑debugging. Experience with version control systems and collaboration tools such as wikis or ticket systems. Optional Management Experience (4+ Years) Leadership responsibilities: Collaborate with product management, QA, and leads from various functional groups to deliver networking features.

Mentor team members and reinforce best software development practices. Leadership requirements: Demonstrated ability to plan, track and execute complex deliveries, cross‑org collaboration, and team development. Strong leadership skills (e.g., Amazon Leadership Principles).

What We Offer We don’t just build next‑gen wireless technology—we build people. The salary range for this position is $175,000 to $250,000. Compensation will be determined based on factors such as skill set, years of experience, and geographic location.
