Technical Analyst II, Store Systems Store Support Center We are searching for an experienced Technical Analyst II, Store Systems for our StoreSupport Center located at 600 Citadel Drive, Commerce, CA, 90040. SUMMARY The Technical Analyst's role is to plan,design, develop, and launch efficient technical solutions in support of coreorganizational functions and business processes. This includes support for technical aspectsof business requirements, proposed projects, and systems requirements.
The Technical Analyst will maintain softwareapplications in support of achieving business requirements. This includes responsibility for the design,testing, documentation, QA support and post-production support for customer solutions. The Technical Analyst will also research,design, document, and modify software-related functionality throughout theproduction life cycle.
This individual will apply provencommunication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize thebenefit of IT system investments. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.Other duties may be assigned or required. Provide technical support for designated vendor applications utilizing skills in software configuration, interface development and support, reporting, and job execution, all of which is predicated on proven knowledge of the technical and business aspects for assigned application(s).
Analyze, assess, and execute technical solutions for issues and/or new requirements for existing business systems and procedures. Perform development and documentation of software configuration or program modifications. Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems, and other post-implementation support.
Liaise with network administrators, systems analysts, and software engineers to assist in resolving problems with software products or company software systems. Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously. Deliver assigned projects on time and on budget.
Working knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards including LAN and WAN technologies. May involve occasional after-hours resolution support in event of systems incidence EDUCATION and/orEXPERIENCE College diploma or university degree in computer science, computer information systems, or management information systems, and/or 2-3 years equivalent work experience 2-3 years' experience in Unix required 2-3 years' experience with SQL required 2-3 years of scripting experience a definite plus 2-3 years' experience in store/retail systems is a plus OTHER QUALIFICATIONS Good understanding of the organization'sgoals and objectives. Knowledge of applicable data privacypractices and laws.
Good written and oral communication skills. Strong technical documentation skills. Good interpersonal skills.
Ability to present ideas in a user-friendlylanguage. Highly self-motivated and directed. Keen attention to detail.
Proven analytical and problem-solvingabilities. Ability to effectively prioritize andexecute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Strong customer service orientation.
Experience working in a team-oriented,collaborative environment COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is$120,000.00 to $130,000.00. The actual starting pay will be determined by anumber of qualifications; including, experience and relevant skills.
