Position: Team Sales Manager Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week), some weekends required Compensation : $22.50 - $32.00 (per hour), enrolment in extended health benefits plan, plus bonuses. Hourly wage will depend on both industry and sales experience. Fred “Cyclone” Taylor was one of hockey’s first superstars. In 1908, Lord Grey, the Governor General of Canada was so impressed with Fred’s skating ability he likened him to a ‘cyclone’ – the name stuck for the remainder of Fred’s hockey career. Cyclone Taylor played in four Stanley Cup Championships, one of which includes a win in 1915 with the Vancouver Millionaires.

CTS has four physical retail locations in the lower mainland (Vancouver, Richmond, Coquitlam, and Surrey), as well as a large eCommerce website that ships hockey, baseball/softball and lacrosse equipment to all corners of Canada. About the position: The Team Sales Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Team and Corporate sales.

The successful applicant will work with customers and vendors to fulfill team and corporate orders in a timely and organized structure. The Team Sales Manager will represent all four Cyclone Taylor locations and will be the key contact to all local hockey, baseball and lacrosse associations. Qualifications & Requirements: Education & Experience: Hockey background required (player, coach, fan) Baseball/Softball or Lacrosse background is an asset At minimum, completion of secondary school At least 1 years of sales experience Or an equivalent combination of education and experience Skills: Knowledge and passion for ice hockey and/or baseball/lacrosse is an asset Experience with team and corporate sales in as asset Familiarity with point-of-sale system operations Basic computer skills (e.g., Email, Microsoft Word, and Excel) Knowledge of Order My Gear and Canva are assets.

Ability to problem solve Excellent customer service Organized Responsibilities: Manage relationships with local hockey, baseball and lacrosse organizations Fulfill team and corporate sales order Purchasing and Receiving Build online team stores with Order My Gear platform Provides excellent customer service in person and over the phone, including identifying appropriate customer needs Prepares regular updates to ownership Attend local community sporting events as needed (association photo days, BBQ's, etc) Involved in community partnerships related to tournaments Other duties as required CTS offers a competitive compensation package as well as staff discounts on hockey, baseball/softball and lacrosse equipment.
