At Yaclass, we’re looking for an energetic and motivated Team Leader - Sales to manage a team of 10 Business Development Executives (BDEs) while also meeting individual sales targets. In this role, you’ll mentor and inspire your team, guiding them to exceed their sales goals while refining strategies to maximize impact.
If you love leading from the front, enjoy tackling challenges, and want to make a real difference in the EdTech space, we’d love to meet you! What You’ll Do Lead, mentor, and manage a team of up to 10 BDEs/Sr. BDEs, helping them unlock their full potential.
Analyze and refine the sales funnel to improve lead conversion and closure rates. Keep your team motivated and engaged while implementing strategies to minimize attrition. Meet individual sales targets while setting and tracking team sales goals on a weekly and monthly basis.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback for growth. Identify hiring needs within your team and make data-driven decisions on scaling. Engage with students and parents via calls, messages, and emails to schedule demo sessions.
Build meaningful relationships with clients, understanding their goals and learning needs. Address concerns and handle negotiations to ensure a smooth enrollment process. What We’re Looking For Languages: Proficiency in Telugu and English is mandatory.
Experience : 1.5 to 2 years in B2C inside sales/telesales, preferably in the EdTech industry. Industry Knowledge : Understanding of the K12 education landscape in Tamil Nadu & India, especially for students in Grades 6-10. Sales Expertise : Hands-on experience making 100+ calls per day, scheduling demos, and working with CRM tools (Zoho, Leadsquared, Salesforce, etc.).
Tech Skills: Comfortable using Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides. Leadership Qualities: Ability to inspire, guide, and develop a team of up to 10 BDEs. Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills in both English & Telugu.
Work Ethic: Revenue-focused, with strong objection-handling and negotiation skills. Collaboration : Experience working with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals. Good to Have Experience managing or mentoring a remote B2C sales team.
Familiarity with performance forecasting and weekly sales planning. Experience handling objection-heavy sales conversations in competitive markets. Exposure to fast-paced, high-growth environments, especially in startups.
Comfort with sales data analysis using Google Sheets. Compensation: Up to 6 Lakhs per annum(based on previous CTC and experience) Probation period: 2 months (or) 3 months(depending on performance)
