Team Lead – Accounting & Finance Baner, Pune | Full-Time About the Role We are looking for a hands-on and experienced Team Lead – Accounting & Finance to lead and manage our Accounting & Finance team in Pune. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in accounting operations, MIS reporting, financial management, and client handling across multiple engagements. This role requires someone who can balance leadership with execution — a professional who can guide teams, ensure high-quality deliverables, manage critical situations, and actively step in when needed.

Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the Accounting & Finance team to ensure timely and accurate deliverables Review accounting records, MIS reports, reconciliations, budgets, and dashboards prepared by the team Manage multiple client engagements with effective prioritization and execution Ensure accuracy in month-end/year-end closing, reporting, AP/AR, and reconciliations Act as a key point of contact for client communication, audit coordination, and compliance matters Mentor, train, and support team members to drive performance and growth Step into execution during high-pressure or resource-constrained situations Drive process improvements, SOP creation, and automation initiatives Support onboarding and transition planning for new clients and systems Required Qualifications CA or CA Inter qualification (Mandatory) 7–8 years of experience in Accounting, MIS, and financial reporting Experience managing teams in multi-client accounting environments Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities Technical Skills Strong expertise in accounting platforms such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks Online (QBO), Xero, Sage, Tally, or similar tools Deep understanding of end-to-end accounting processes Strong knowledge of general ledger, AP/AR, reconciliations, and financial reporting Advanced Excel skills for MIS reporting, financial analysis, and dashboarding Preferred Skills Exposure to US/UK/international GAAP Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning Knowledge of audits, compliance, and statutory requirements Ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams Process improvement and automation mindset Ideal Candidate Strong leadership experience managing teams of 8–10 members Comfortable handling multiple deadlines and client requirements under pressure Hands-on professional who can manage and execute when required Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset Excellent communication and client management skills
