Assignment:

• Full-time 1.0 probationary teaching position.


• Courseload to include
  
  
  
  • Grade 5 general instruction, and Physical Education and Art
  
  
  • Creation and Implementation of IPP's, LSP's, and behaviour plans
  
  
  
  


• Duties to commence August 26, 2026 and will continue for the remainder of the 2026/2027 school year

Qualifications:

• Experience working in a grade level and courses as mentioned above would be considered an asset


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills


• Collaborative assessment and analysis of student data


• Development and implementation of effective literacy and numeracy interventions


• Working as a part of a collaborative grade 5 team


• Develop of individual student program plans


• Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate flexible thinking, creativity, innovation, and evidence of collaboration


• Familiarity with Daily 5 and LLI


• Assessment literate


• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet a wide range of specific and individual needs


• Effective classroom management


• Commitment to ongoing professional growth
