About the job Tax Manager/Tax Senior Manager Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual for a hybrid CPA, Tax Manager/Tax Senior Manager role with their company. Key Responsibilities Manage client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for their tax and consulting needs Provide top-quality tax planning, research, and consulting services to clients Prepare and review tax returns for small businesses and individuals Experience in estate and trust tax is preferred Conduct business valuations and provide consulting services to clients Work with and manage a team of accountants in a small business setting Stay current with tax laws and regulations and ensure compliance for clients Train and mentor junior staff members to help them reach their full potential Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement strategies for business growth and client retention Qualifications Active CPA license Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of experience in tax planning, research, and compliance Experience with estate and gift taxes and business valuations Strong leadership and management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient in tax software and MS Office Experience with ProSystem fx Tax and QuickBooks is a plus They offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as a supportive and collaborative work environment.
