Task Lead/Scrum Master

Description As a Task Lead/Scrum Master, you play a pivotal role in guiding our agile teams to success. You facilitate collaboration, remove impediments, and ensure the team adheres to Agile principles. Your expertise in Scrum and Agile methodologies directly contributes to the efficient delivery of high-quality software solutions, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Possessing an active DOD Secret Clearance is required to be considered for this position. This position is currently contingent upon award. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Leads daily scrum meetings, sprint reviews, and sprint planning sessions to ensure team alignment and progress.

Facilitates sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives to optimize team performance. Guides the team in Agile methodologies, promoting self-organization and continuous improvement. Collaborates with product owners and stakeholders to clarify requirements and manage expectations.

Tracks and reports on team progress using Azure DevOps and other relevant tools. Fosters effective communication and collaboration within the team and with external stakeholders. Champions DevSecOps practices, ensuring security is integrated into the development lifecycle.

Act as Task Lead for assigned workstreams under the TO. Coordinate cross-functional activities across engineering, QA, cyber, and operations. Track progress against milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.

Support execution of program management rhythms and reporting. Ensure alignment between product priorities and delivery capacity. Drives continuous improvement initiatives based on data and feedback.

Manages backlog and flow management to streamline the development process. Creates Metric and presents Reports to track team performance and identify areas for improvement. Applies project management principles to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Manages Stakeholder Management by communicating project status, risks, and dependencies. Exhibits Team Leadership by motivating team members and fostering a collaborative environment. Requirements In-depth knowledge of Scrum and other Agile methodologies.

Strong communication skills and ability to facilitate effective meetings. Proficiency in backlog and flow management. Ability to create and interpret Metrics Understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices.

Strong task leadership skills and ability to motivate and mentor team members. Excellent stakeholder management skills. Solid understanding of project management principles.

Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 7 years of experience as a Scrum Master 5 years experience of leading a team Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager. Scrum Master certification (CSM, or SAFe) Experience with Azure DevOps or similar agile project management tools. Experience in implementing and scaling Agile methodologies within an organization.
