Job Description Job Description Overview CTG is seeking to fill a Talend Framework Developer position for our client. Location: Atlanta, GA / Charlotte, NC / Raleigh, NC Duration: 12 months Duties: Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT data integration solutions Define, build, and maintain data ingestion frameworks (batch, real-time, CDC) Develop and manage data transformation and distribution frameworks Create reusable components, templates, and development standards Conduct design reviews and optimize job performance and scalability Implement best practices for error handling, logging, and monitoring Develop job parallelization strategies and support mainframe data integration Perform memory tuning and implement context-driven parameterization Handle large-scale datasets, complex file processing, and API integrations Integrate Talend solutions with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Work with modern data ecosystems including Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, APIs, Kafka, and Snowflake Implement CI/CD pipelines and support automated deployments Skills: Strong hands-on experience with Talend development (Talend Data Integration / Talend Cloud) Solid understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling Advanced SQL skills with a focus on performance tuning and optimization Experience with cloud-based data services across AWS, Azure, or GCP Familiarity with distributed data processing and streaming frameworks (e.g., Kafka) Knowledge of CI/CD tools and DevOps practices Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience: 5+ years of experience in Talend development and data integration frameworks Proven experience designing enterprise-grade ETL/ELT frameworks Experience working with large-scale data environments and complex integrations Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms and modern data architectures Experience with performance tuning, job optimization, and scalable design patterns Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
