Systems Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the autonomous vehicle technology sector, is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their team. As a Systems Engineer, you will be part of the Security and Embedded Systems Department supporting innovative hardware security solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Systems Engineer Location: Foster City, CA Pay Range: $90-95/h + Benefits What's the Job? Design and implement security solutions to enhance embedded Linux platforms. Develop cryptographic defense mechanisms and automate security pipelines within CI/CD frameworks.

Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure secure device provisioning at scale. Architect system resilience features such as multi-slot boot recovery layouts. Support hardware security architecture and low-level system configurations.

What's Needed? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. 6+ years of experience in Embedded Linux development, board bring-up, and BSP customization. 3+ years of hands-on experience deploying device-level security features into production hardware. Expert knowledge of bootloader configurations and Linux kernel security subsystems.
