Job Description
Job Title Systems Engineer Job Location: Kochi Summary: Systems Engineer is responsible for successful planning, implementation, and maintenance of High-Performance data center infrastructure and technologies. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure the efficient delivery of data center projects while adhering to best practices and industry standards. Job Roles and Responsibilities: Take a lead on client projects and will need excellent client-facing and communication skills.
Lead the planning, design, and implementation of DC infrastructure projects, and successful execution Capture functional and non-functional design requirements from customers and ensure these aretranslated to design/ implementation/ deployment/ operation Work on installation, configuration, and testing of DC hardware/software components Ensure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and during the implementation process Ensure quality of the deliverables of the project against requirements and promoted best practices Contribute to the teamβs tool kit of reusable deployment blueprints and document accordingly Create and maintain accurate documentation related to DC infrastructure (ex. network diagrams, hardware inventories, and SOP) Liaise with business leaders and project managers to align data center projects with organizational goals and objectives Synthesize customer feedback and promptly communicate learnings internally to Project team to enhance service offerings alongside the evolving needs of our customers Education Qualification Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Certifications HPC, RHCE, Kubernetes, CCNA, Virtualization Experience 2-4 years of experience in data center infrastructure implementation and management. Experience in Data Networking Installation, Configuration and Troubleshooting and Network Equipment Hands on in implementing proposed solutions and be able to technically guide extended teams during development and deployment of solution Strong design level knowledge in Data Centre and Networking technologies on technical assessment and solutioning Special Skills & knowledge Experience in High-Performance Computing with extensive practical hands-on experience in deploying High-Performance Clusters High-Performance Computing Cluster Cluster Management Tools: Redhat HPC, ROCKS, Bright Cluster Manager, OpenHPC Parallel Environment: MPI, MPICH2, MVAPICH2, OPENMPI Grid Computing / Scheduling: PBS Pro, Torque, Slurm Parallel file system: Lustre, BeeGFS Benchmarks: HPL, IOZONE, IOR, Iperf High Availability: Red Hat Cluster Suite Operating Systems: Redhat Enterprise Linux, CentOS, Windows Virtualization: Redhat Enterprise Virtualization, KVM, Virtual Box, and VMware Directory service: Open LDAP Hardware: NVIDIA, Super Micro, Co-processors: NVIDIA GPU(Tesla K40, Tesla K20, V100), Intel MIC Storages: DDN Lustre, NetApp, VAST .
