About the Role We are looking for a confident and technically minded Systems Development Officer to help maintain and improve the digital systems that support our frontline services. Responsibilities Manage and maintain Streetscene IT systems. Support system configuration, improvements and digital development.
Test and help roll out upgrades and new features. Monitor system performance and support data‑driven insight. Produce reports and SQL‑based data extracts.
Support system users and deliver staff training. Qualifications HNC in Computer Science, IT or a related field, or equivalent experience. Around 3 to 4 years’ experience working with and supporting operational IT systems, or the ability to demonstrate an equivalent level of expertise.
A strong understanding of systems, data and how they are used to support business processes. Awareness of data management, compliance or relevant legislation in an operational environment. Strong SQL skills.
Excellent communication and user‑support skills. A proactive, solutions‑focused approach. Knowledge of Confirm and mobile/field‑based systems (desirable). #J-18808-Ljbffr
