  • Hybrid working arrangements (3 days per week in the office)

About the role:

Join Darebin at an exciting time as we strengthen and modernise our finance systems. In this role, you'll ensure our finance applications and data are accurate, reliable and support informed decision-making across the organisation. You'll solve system challenges, improve processes and deliver enhancements that make work easier for users every day.

Working closely with Finance, ICT and business stakeholders, you'll streamline workflows, strengthen reporting and drive continuous improvement. While your primary focus will be on optimising and enhancing existing finance systems, you'll also have the opportunity to contribute to our exciting ERP transformation and shape the future of finance technology at Council.

You will:

  • Resolve finance system issues and ensure critical business applications operate reliably and effectively.
  • Improve finance systems and ERP functionality to simplify processes, enhance usability and strengthen data quality.
  • Support system upgrades, enhancements and ERP transformation initiatives through testing, implementation and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Finance, ICT and business stakeholders to streamline processes, improve reporting and deliver better outcomes.
  • Analyse data and develop reporting solutions that support informed decision-making.

About you:

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce or Finance; Information Systems qualifications or experience will be highly regarded.
  • Experience working with ERP finance systems, such as Oracle, TechnologyOne, SAP or similar.
  • A naturally curious and proactive problem-solver who takes ownership, navigates ambiguity and is driven to identify, investigate and deliver solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in data analysis, reporting and system configuration.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively across Finance, ICT and business teams.
