As an Apprentice of System through our partnership , you’re not just developing hands-on technical expertise - you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:
Assist engineers and learn from trade mechanics: Support engineering teams in maintaining the safety and functionality of guest rooms, public spaces, and heart-of-house areas
Gain practical experience across multiple trades: Learn and perform basic tasks in areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, painting, and masonry, under the supervision of experienced engineers
Conduct preventive maintenance inspections: Observe and participate in inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, and heart-of-house areas to identify maintenance needs and ensure preventive measures are in place
Document maintenance activities: Assist in recording completed inspections and repairs, as well as any issues requiring further attention or escalation
Support department administration: Assist with office-related duties such as receiving deliveries and running errands for materials and parts
Collaborate for success: Work closely with other apprentices and engineers to promote a positive and productive work environment
Participate in development programs: Complete online training to gain new skills and knowledge and advance your career in engineering
