System Engineer (Dallas)

We have an exciting remote Systems Engineer 6 contract opportunity. This role will support the migration and integration efforts between Okta and Microsoft Entra ID. This role will focus on identity workflows, API integrations, automation, and platform support, ensuring secure and efficient identity operations across the enterprise.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Okta and Microsoft Entra ID, strong PowerShell automation skills, and a solid understanding of Identity Governance and Identity Threat Protection. Responsibilities: Support and execute identity platform migration and integration efforts between Okta and Microsoft Entra ID Design, build, and maintain Workflows using Okta and Microsoft Entra ID Develop and manage PowerShell automation, including: Workflow automation Exchange mailbox automation and support Build, consume, and troubleshoot API integrations between Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, and downstream services Provide ongoing platform support for identity and access management solutions Support Identity Governance initiatives, including: Access reviews Entitlement management Assist with Identity Threat Protection (ITP) and security-related identity controls Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure reliable identity services Minimum Requirements Strong working knowledge of Okta and Microsoft Entra ID Proven experience designing and supporting Workflows and API integrations Advanced PowerShell automation experience Hands-on experience making and troubleshooting API calls to Okta services Solid understanding of: Identity foundations Identity Governance (OIG) Access Reviews Identity Threat Protection (ITP) What We Offer Great opportunity to make a big impact and take ownership on technology initiatives Altruistic work Competitive compensation and benefits including health, dental, vision, life and accident insurance, short-term disability insurance and more!
