Swim Development Manager Cardiff £35,000 We are working with a leading not-for-profit leisure operator to recruit a commercially driven Swim Development Manager to take ownership of a flagship site’s swimming program in Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead one of the largest swim programs in Wales, with circa 1,900 members and a team of 50 staff, within an organisation that genuinely reinvests into its facilities, people, and community. What You’ll Get Competitive salary of £35,000 40-hour working week Strong support from senior leadership Clear progression opportunities within a growing organisation The chance to work for a not-for-profit organisation that reinvests back into its sites and services About You Proven experience within swimming or leisure operations A strong commercial mindset with the ability to grow membership and revenue Experience managing teams within a fast-paced environment Passionate about delivering high-quality customer experiences Welsh speaking (desirable) Experience working with or alongside Swim Wales (desirable) Swimming qualifications desirable but not required The Role Lead and develop a high-performing swim program at one of the largest leisure sites in Wales Manage, motivate, and develop a team of circa 50 staff Drive membership growth and maximise programme performance Work collaboratively with internal departments, including marketing, to increase engagement and participation Ensure the delivery of a safe, high-quality, and commercially successful operation If you’re a driven leisure professional looking to take the next step in your career with a forward-thinking organisation, we’d love to hear from you.
