Sustaining Engineering Specialist - Critical Environments We are seeking a proactive Sustaining Engineering Specialist to join our Critical Environments team.

In this role, you will support ongoing product lines and ensure the continued performance, reliability, and quality of our engineered solutions. You will play a key part in resolving technical issues, implementing product and process improvements, and collaborating across cross‑functional teams to enhance existing systems. Key Responsibilities Analyze and resolve complex technical issues affecting existing products and systems.

Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and design teams to identify root causes of product failures and implement effective corrective actions. Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing product reliability, performance, and cost‑effectiveness. Prepare technical documentation, including reports, drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and manufacturing instructions for HVAC‑related projects and production.

Coordinate and manage sustaining engineering projects, ensuring on‑time delivery, compliance, and adherence to scope requirements. Develop and maintain product change information, Bills of Materials, and product routing documentation. Provide expert technical support to field service and technical sales teams, including troubleshooting and feasibility assessments.

Qualifications University degree in Engineering, or a College Diploma/Technology Program in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field. Strong problem‑solving skills, including experience with root cause analysis methodologies. Solid understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross‑functional collaboration. Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities. Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and committed to delivering high‑quality results.

Preferred Skills Background in sustaining engineering, product support, or similar roles. Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and compliance requirements. Strong proficiency with SolidWorks or other 3D CAD software.

Experience with MRP or ERP systems (asset). Comprehensive understanding of product design and engineering standards. Previous experience with sheet metal manufacturing processes.
