Job Description

• Continues growth in knowledge and skills while handling projects of moderate scope and complexity.
• To be able to execute tasks by applying relevant industry codes, standards and/or project specific standards.
• Participates actively in understating the team concepts and relations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates a proven working knowledge of various technical principles, within a specific engineering discipline as well as basic knowledge of these elements in other disciplines.
• Uses judgment based on practice and precedence.
• Has ability to apply knowledge to resolve issues of moderate scope and complexity using proven approaches and techniques.
• No supervisory responsibility but provides informal guidance and support to new team members.
• Develops understanding of team concepts, soliciting, promoting, and encouraging member’s ideas, goals and efforts.
• Must be able to exchange ideas and information effectively in a concise and logical way and be sensitive to audience diversity.
• Requires a degree of tact and diplomacy when dealing with others and handling sensitive issues.
• Maintains confidentiality and keep appropriate people informed.
• The job has indirect impact by assisting more senior engineers in carrying out technical tasks requiring computation methods.
• The impact is related to the quality and timeliness of execution.
• Develop a knowledge of business principles, industry practices and standards and knowledge of direct competitors
• The job requires the ability to make judgments based on education and previous work experience

• Accountable for Individual & Team action, if applicable.
• Accountable for employee performance within the team including performance appraisals & mentoring etc., if applicable.
• Accountable for team’s activities to design new products, modify existing designs, improve production techniques, and develop procedures.
• Accountable for overall project completion, NCR’s & FPRs.
• Authority to stop work on any safety related concerns.
• Authority to approve Employee expense report, if applicable.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering or related Engineering degree.
• General knowledge of Oil and Gas production, hydrocarbon processing and oil/water separation.
• PC Skills and working knowledge of engineering software packages such as CAD packages, MathCAD.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Expertise:

• Experience in Oil & Gas industry.
• Experience in Subsea Industry.
• Knowledge on relevant industry standards, like API, ASME/ANSI, NACE, etc.
• SAP experience.
• Knowledge on Hydraulics and P&ID’s.
• Thorough knowledge on GD&T Principles and application.
