Job Title: IAM Support Engineer Position Overvie wWe are seeking an investigative and technically proficient IAM Support Enginee r with 2+ years of dedicated hands-on experience troubleshooting identity frameworks and device management systems. In this role, you will be the core technical driver handling complex escalations surrounding User Lifecycle Management, Single Sign-On (SSO) federations, secure network access, and endpoint compliance The ideal candidate does not just close tickets—they dig deep into system logs and reports to identify the underlying root cause of complex technical failures, utilizing automation (PowerShell/Bash) to prevent repetitive issues . Key Responsibiliti esAdvanced Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysi s: Take ownership of tier-2 escalations from ticketing platforms. Analyze complex system reports, event logs, and authentication payloads to locate the exact root cause of intermittent access or device failure s.Identity & Access Management (IAM ): Manage end-to-end User Lifecycle Management (Joiner-Mover-Leaver pipelines). Administer day-to-day operations across Active Directory (AD) and cloud identity directorie s.Access Control Enforcemen t: Configure and maintain strict Attribute-Based Access Control (AB AC) models and Role-Based Access Control frameworks. Maintain secure administrative boundaries using Privileged Access Management (P AM) guideline s.SSO & Conditional Access Remediatio n: Act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting faile d S SO logins (SAML, OIDC), broken app federations, and misconfigure d Conditional Access Polici es blocking legitimate user traffi c.Network & Endpoint Securit y: Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot user connection and radius failures ove r JumpCloud Cloud RADI U S.UEM & Compliance Engineerin g: Administe r Scalefusion U EM along with it s Velt ar security suite. Troubleshoot device enrollment failures, profile deployments, and monitor on-device compliance policies (Secure Web Gateway configurations, Endpoint DLP, and URL filtering ).Automation & Scriptin g: Write, modify, and execute standar d PowerShe ll an d Ba sh commands to pull diagnostic logs, run bulk identity updates, or deploy custom configurations directly to endpoint s. Required Technical Skills & Experie nceExperien ce: 2+ years of professional experience in an IT Support, Systems Administration, or IAM Operations ro le.Ticketing & SLA Syste ms: Proven experience working within enterprise IT service management (ITSM) ticketing tools (e.g., Jira Service Desk, ServiceNow, Freshservic e).Identity Sta ck: Deep, foundational knowledge of Active Directory ( AD ), One Ident ity, and modern Identity-as-a-Service (IDaaS) mechani cs.Security & Authenticati on: Strong exposure to troubleshooti ng SSO infrastruct ure, analyzing conditional access criteria, and resolvi ng JumpCloud RAD IUS connection handshak es.Security Framewor k : Hands-on proficiency wi th Scalefusion UEM, specifically utilizing t he Scalefusion Vel tar security framework to manage endpoint compliance baselines and investigate profile dri ft.Endpoint & Asset Manageme nt: Diagnose and remediate device management challenges, including automated patch deployments, software installation errors, MDM enrollment roadblocks, policy distribution failures, and asset managem entScripting Litera cy: Ability to read, interpret, and write functional administrative scripts in PowerSh ell a nd B ash to pull data or run diagnostic tas ks.Analytical Minds et: Demonstrated ability to dissect csv data, system logs, and security reports to isolate technical issues instead of implementing superficial quick-fix es.Expert Communication Skil ls: Exceptional verbal and written communication. Proven ability to handle high-pressure support scenarios calmly, explain technical dependencies concise ly.
