Supplier Quality Engineer

Duration: 0-9 Months (Contract) Shift: 8 am to 5:00 pm (Monday to Friday) Responsibilities: Review validation reports and/or first article submissions for new supplied components. Assist in coordinating across technical disciplines within the organization, suppliers, joint venture partners and/or OEM partners. Coordinate and facilitate the resolution of problems involving the approval of suppliers' components into manufacturing processes.

Demonstrated ability to implement Mechanical Design/ GD&T into complex parts. Demonstrated technical, front end engagement with electromechanical, machining, sheet metal and/or plastics suppliers Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Monitor policies, procedures, and standards relating to Supplier Quality Engineering (i.e. metrics, data entry, log parts) Requirements: Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Engineering Technology discipline 3 years of relevant experience, primarily focused on the design, manufacturing, and quality of component parts Competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint at a minimum)
