Overview
In this role you will support Disney’s social media and influencer strategy for the UK & EMEA, with a focus on Marvel and Lucasfilm. You work within the Cross-Company Social Media Team to deliver franchise-focused campaigns and engaging content that strengthens audience connections. You will partner with franchise teams, markets and external partners to scale social activity while upholding brand standards.
The role offers hands-on content planning, influencer coordination and insight-driven optimization to deliver measurable impact for the business and fans.

- Act as the dedicated social media and influencer partner for Marvel and Lucasfilm, developing and executing franchise-specific campaigns across UK and EMEA
- Plan, execute and optimize social media and influencer activity across Disney UK and EMEA brand channels
- Deliver best-in-class, social-first content to strengthen brand affinity and audience engagement
- Roll out social media and influencer playbooks, guidelines and best practices across EMEA markets
- Manage mid-sized influencer campaigns from talent identification to reporting
- Assist with major influencer projects and implementation of Influencer Guidelines
- Coordinate content creation by briefing agencies, designers, creators and external partners
- Lead content planning across always-on and campaign activity including copywriting, creative briefing, approvals, asset distribution and scheduling
- Own channel, content and campaign reporting, monitor KPIs, and translate insights into future plans
- Support paid social activity including amplification recommendations, optimization and reporting
- Collaborate with markets and platform partners on new channel launches and platform innovations
- Maintain governance and security standards across social accounts
- Champion audience-first thinking by sharing trends and industry developments
- Support local and regional initiatives through competition management and inclusive content representation
- Manage the Social Media Intern’s day-to-day workload
- Present updates, recommendations and new opportunities to stakeholders
- Experience in social media or digital marketing in an agency or client-side role
- Hands-on channel scheduling and publishing experience
- Experience working with influencers or talent-led campaigns
- Strong understanding of major social platforms and audience trends
- Strong reporting and analytical skills with KPI-driven insights
- Experience developing forward-looking content plans across always-on and campaign activity
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication adaptable for multiple audiences
- Collaborative and relationship-building mindset across teams
- Proactive, detail-oriented with commercial awareness and opportunity spotting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint/Keynote, Word)
